Los Angeles, CA — In addition to the “Safer at Home” Order issued by Governor Newsome and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti has issued a “worker protection order” ordering all Los Angeles city residents to wear protective face masks while working and/or shopping at the essential businesses such as grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, and other businesses that remain open during the citywide “safer at home” order.
The order also states businesses may refuse admission or service, but doesn’t require they do so.
I’m executing a Worker Protection Order: starting Friday, April 10th, employees & customers at many non-medical essential businesses such as grocery stores will be required to wear face coverings to take care of those who are taking care of us. More info: https://t.co/lbT15nJO5z
